Yeah the ending was rushed, and for the whole "Foot of the Giant" thing, it would have been much more fitting if it was the Nazca Line geoglyph of the giant instead of the Lincoln Memorial, because of the whole thing about the Espheni landing there. But overall Falling Skies was a good show, but if they had stretched out the finale, it would have had more of an effect on us a viewers. Similar thing to my problem with the Season 32 and 33 (6 and 7 if you only count Post-'05 Who) finales of Doctor Who, Moffatt really shouldn't have messed with RTD's existing 2-part season finale flow, heck, 3-part for season 29 (a.k.a. 3), if you count Utopia. However the season 35 (a.k.a. 9) finale, it was just to hard to follow, I was like, "so is the old dude Rassilon, because if he is, say so, it's not like he's being played by Timothy Dalton," the whole time. (Nerd rant over)
