I like the lighting in this image. I assume the focus is on the light reflections off that carved vertical support beam and the less obvious triangular light on the vertical beam between the windows. In my game this scene would be dominated by beams of light and particle effects blasting through the windows.
Honestly, I haven't had any significant problems with ELFX and I have been running it for a long time. Some players don't like the "light under doorways" effect but it doesn't bother me; actually creates immersion from my perspective. The main issues you might have are with customizations to vanilla houses like Proudspire Manor and Breezehome but there are patches for ELFX to not apply ELFX to those interiors. I'm using the patch for Proudspire Manor because I have a mod that changes the rooms around and adds a bunch of beds for kids. Without the patch a wall blocks off the staircase. Good luck with it. Enjoy.

How did you achieve that lighting?
I will grab a quick pic as an example; be right back.
OK, here's what it looks like around 10 A.M. And here's a link to pics for other times of day: https://imgur.com/a/KvhTo0P
Back in oldrim I had that effect, too. :-(

One day I find out how to fix it.
