   I had this exact issue and was able to solve it with some help. It's caused by the latest version of Racemenu.
   
   Either roll back to the previous version of Racemenu or use the fix detailed in the second sticky post:
   
   "Will fix the buggy eyes in next update that restores more functionality. I forgot to disable the WIP feature when submitting.
   
   For now you can fix this yourself
   Data/SKSE/Plugins/skee64.ini
   Change
   bEnableFaceOverlays=1
   to
   bEnableFaceOverlays=0"
   
   Edit: Talk about being ninja'd!

      this didnt work for me, it just made my character invisible.

      Update Racemenu and all mods that depend on it.
      
      This fix is five years old, and is probably not what you need today.

   Go into the skse folder find and open the skee64.ini. Check if bEnableFaceOverlays is set to 0. If it isn't change it to 0. That should fix the problem.
