Thank you very much. My game was so broken after the update, it took me days to get it back to "almost" there again. Still having a few issues, one being Samantha has begun speaking in game. Not sure how that happens, but... Skyrim - Things that make you go "huh". Anyway, thank you for the kind remarks. I always appreciate your opinion.
I just stay in offline mode in Steam so I don't get the updates until I want them after all of the SKSE dependent mods have been updated. Since I don't participate in the Creation Club, the updates have no benefit to my gaming experience. If Bethesda actually improved the installed game with the updates then I would likely see it differently but that is not the current case.
I know what you mean, but I have been working with OMB on a new mod and we need to insure it works with the most recent version. The new update does have some game "improvements". It effected all DLC's from what I can tell. Shading was one of the things it appears was updated. Not 100% sure of what all was done though. My game actually updated while I was in game, even though I have it set to only update on launch and I have steam set to no downloads during game play. Not sure what happened there. Then NMM decided to install every mod I had in my mod inventory. Which, as you can imagine, caused a great deal of issues. I was talking to OMB during all of this and he was laughing and saying I had been over taken by Gremlins. I was inclined to agree with him.
I empathize with your situation. Hopefully the SKSE dependent updates will be expedited. As for me, I will get the "improvements" after all of my SKSE dependent mods have been updated which took a long time in my most recent game update cycle; I have a very long list of SKSE mods that I run.

Lovely green eyes and a luscious nicely shaped mouth.
Beautifully done my friend.
