      Back then I guess it was good archers, acting and a lot of timing.

      Or it was shot in reverse so the arrows were there first then they removed them after the actor was in the scene one by one?

      I don't think they were that clever back then.
      It was simply a case of... "What? You wannna get paid for being a star. Then here's what will happen. We'll shoot a hundred arrows at you. Don't worry though, the archers are experts. Ain't that right Cross Eyed Chris."
