    Now for a weapon :!

Edit: I WILL be releasing a blue variant (ESO) and a red one (Traditional, if my model is even considered traditional... lol) in the final release.

Hi the_rotten_core, I use 3ds Max 2015 and will be upgrading to 2017 soon-ish. Also, for my high-poly stuff, use ZBrush.

Nice. Something about the image said zbrush to me. I've only dabbled in that a little myself. The legs look a bit stiff at the moment though it might just be the pose. Where do the boots end and the knee joint deform? I'm just curious about your process. The aesthetics on this thing are killer and I'd definitely use it with an evil themed tank character.

Hey, yeah, what gave it away... the old ZBrush default gradient perhaps? Lol. The legs... yeah, i can see that as I took inspiration from Morrowind daedric and they always looked super heavy and stiff (?) to me. Process? I tried and succeeded in having my deformation' s in the same place that the stock body for SSE has them. It is kinda deceiving with those plates but the plates will only be affected by the bottom half of the leg Also, thanks for the kind words!

Haha yeah but it does look great especially for those quick WIP snaps.
Well I've made more armours than I've released and if I don't plan for it I've found things can start to look a bit terrible around the groin and knees when going into stealth mode. Even when I do plan for it I usually have to take several attempts at tweaking the rigging. It's especially difficult when I'm trying to make something bulky and heavy that shouldn't really deform. So just curious how went about dealing with that. It sounds fine though. Keep it up man.

Der sorry, I wrote and read that when I was having a midnight snack, sooo half asleep lol. Yeah so the plates for the knee are rigged just above the thigh, this makes so the knee joint doesn't deform the whole plate. The area with the cloth that comes down the front, middle... well that part is a labour of love. First I rigg it by itself by duplicating it and moving it to match the location of a vanilla equivalent. Then once the duplicate has been rigged, I move it back to where the original was and weight it again. After that, yeah testing and tweaking. As for the plates by the groin, I never really have problems around there because I match my ploys with the vanilla body, this seems to work rather well.

I hope that is a better answer

eh no worries. I usually wind up reading messages at 8am after my alarm while I procrastinate on getting out of bed.
I agree rigging is something of a labour of love and while I generally try to make my joints more geometry dense it never occurred to me to maybe copy the vert locations to match the vanilla bodies. Definitely worth considering in the future, though I dunno how much more modding I'll want to do after my current projects finish. I'm not even playing Skyrim or Fallout at the moment.

I usually do not leave comments for armors, but I genuinely like this one - nice work.

Have you considered doing a blue version? That is more Molag Bal's style in ESO.

Very nice armor set. Hope you'll make it available for the 32-bit version of Skyrim as well.
