From an immersive side, the thighs from the iron armor makes no sense. If you strike at them, you cut more into them, instead of deflecting the blow.

I agree that the design isn't particularly great on the thigh armor with the sharp ridges a blade would go deeper than if they were rounded similar to how the Umaril armor functions
I'd love to see the whole set.
