About this image

Hullo! Does anyone less nooby than me have an idea about what is happening here? Bushes appear black from super dark shadow (the textures are still there, so that's not the problem)
The problem persists with and without ENB enabled. I assume it's an ini problem, but not too sure what I should be tweaking!
Thank you for any help :)

Is this the new Aspen tree texture mod? It's probably conflicting with another mod that changes the same thing or you're using 3D trees or something similar. Try putting the trees after the other mods to overwrite.

I don't think that mod is affecting the bushes - the aspens themselves are fine. I'm simply getting extremely black shadows over bushes for some reason! Very odd.

Well, it could. The mod is fine, but sometimes if you have other mods that change plants, trees and such, it could conflict. You should reach out to the modder about it.

Something gone wrong with the textures maybe? Skyrim 3D trees seems to have an issue with textures being too dark sometimes but it doesn't look like you have that installed. Try disabling flora mods 1 at a time and see if one of those might be the issue. If not, try tinkering with the particle settings in your ENB.

Thank you for the advice :) the problem persists even if I disable enb effects, which is odd. I'll follow your tips with the flora mods and see if anything fixes the problem.

If you just noticed this change, then it's the old trace your most mod recent changes strategy.
In other words, did you recently install a new landscape, terrain or tree mod?
Did you recently run BETHINI or manually edit your skyrim.ini or skyrimprefs.ini?
Did you do a game version update recently?
The issue is in the near foreground so I don't think it's an LOD issue but did you recently run xLODGen and/or DynDOLOD?

      Thanks for the advice!
The only flora mod I've installed recently is Veydoesbrom Regions, but disabling it didn't seem to change anything.
I did run BethINI recently, but I switched back to my old inis to tey and fix the issue and it still seems to be the same. I haven't run dyndolod recently, but I can't confirm that I simply wasn't seeing this issue before - I think it was especially noticeable in this weather, but it's a very odd quirk. I'll have to do some more testing.
I'm not sure about game updates! I don't think so?
      Thanks again :)
