See this? In 8 years of playing LE and SE, never have I encountered this, and never have I encountered a problem that doesn't seem to have any remedy. Only affects steel boots and fur guard boots. What is happening xD?

    It's BD's Armor/Clothing replacer.  The standalone works fine, just disable the replacer .esp (don't uninstall).  You can even still replace outfits via bodyslide

    Looks like either the boots or cuirass is set in conflict on the "Feet/Calves" or "Body/Calves/Forearms" in the CK. If the boots only have the "feet" and not the "calves" setting but the cuirass does, it does a clip/invisible thing like that.
