About this image

Hello, good evening I have a question and I hope someone can help me.

I always have a problem with candles anywhere (especially in dungeons), when I look at the candles, the fps drop suddenly, when I look elsewhere, the fps become stable.

I uninstall all the mods that have to do with candles, but the problem persists.

I don't know what other mod can cause such a problem, I have the popular mesh mods like High Poly Project installed, the fire effect mods like Embers XD and other mods, both disabled and the problem persists.

ini? [Particles]
iMaxDesired = 1200

I am writing to you with the hope of finding an idea, however small it may be.

Thanks and sorry for my English.

Before you start uninstalling mods, check your ENB-settings for EnableComplexParticleLights and if it is set to true, set it to false and check fps again. Some enb-presets seem to not have optimized their settings for complex particle lights, therefore you get huge drops when looking at candles. Disabling complex particle lights or switching to a preset with better settings might solve the issue.

      Thanks for the suggestion.

The problem still persists with enb or EnableComplexParticleLights disabled, improve fps by disabling EnableComplexParticleLights (5-8 fps) but lag and micro stutters persist. I only have those problems with candles and the items in the dungeons that light up the place.

It may be a cross-blended mesh conflict, but I can't find the root of the problem.

      Thanks for answering.

I found this mod after a bit of browsing- seems like it's made to fix this exact problem.

Maybe installing it will help you gain some FPS back?

Maybe is it because quality of bokeh is too high somethin?
Is it okay to turn off the DOF effect?

Thanks for responding I have already taken your suggestion into account.

With the ENB or DOF deactivated it obviously improves, indoors everything goes at 60 fps the problem is when looking at the candles with or without enb or dof activated, the fps drop suddenly to 20 fps.

I have uninstalled some texture mods and to no avail, I think I'll give up for now.

I will try uninstalling to see results light and shadow mods like Tamriel Master Lights.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion.

Thanks, if it is true it is a tedious process to install and uninstall, until you have a satisfactory modification.
