please come back to modding :) if you are gone for good, would you please consider uploading your WIP / half finished mod up on nexus - there’s many in the community who I’m sure would love to jump on it and finish the wonderful mod you’ve started!
I second this, Capital Windhelm and Capital Whiterun are my favourite city overhauls on Nexus because they actually make the cities bigger with more to do rather than just having banners overhead or trees sticking out of the flooring. I don't know what happened to Surjamte, if something happened IRL or they got bored of Skyrim, (I hope they're okay) but there's many including me who'd like to get this once hype mod out into the world.
Wow this looks amazing!! Can't wait for you to release more progress on this! Will this be compatible with fine goods from Morrowind or will you be adding your own dunmeri decor for Brand Shei's stall?
So stoked, just out of curiosity where are you building the new districts? In Whiterun it was mainly the hill and Windhelm in the mountains. For Riften will most of the additions be on the lake or will it just sort of radiate out evenly? (Which is what this picture looks like)
Wow, Surjamte, very impressive, as always. You know I had been aware that you were planning on making a Riften Expansion, but it had never occurred to me to expand the canal as well. Now it reminds me of a smaller Nordic version of Venice...noice! I know it'll take a while to finish (all good things do) but I can't wait to see you finish it and see it used alongside Fortified Riften, which much like Fortified Whiterun really enhanced your fantastic Whiterun mod. I gotta ask though, any plans on making Mercer Frey's house, you know actually usable by the player once they become head of the thieves guild? That always bugged me in the base game, that after saving the thieves guild, you didn't even get that idiot mercer's house as your own, I guess the thieves guild really didn't think much of the player after all. :P
usually I try to avoid messing with vanilla quest related stuff, but It would be nice to do somethiing with his house, rather than just leave it there all abandoned
I agree with you there, generally speaking mucking about with vanilla quests can get very ugly most of the time. Hopefully this can prove to be the exception to the rule.
Hi Surjamte, idk if you do this already but please can you put any unused civil war markers you need to move somewhere easy to find or just don't move them? Some mod authors like to delete them. Would make making a civil war overhaul redux patch much easier if needed and save me figuring out which ones had been moved 30000 units under the map :P

thanks so much!
I hope you still have ideas and energy for Markath. The unmodded city.
