That looks incredible though! Some modders think that there is little or no visual difference between 2K and 4K textures. But I have seen huge differences in detail between the two, even before I switched to a 4K monitor. Then when you have an 8K texture, the details can get really insane!
Yeah only having 16K mountain textures fight against 8K body textures and 8k environment textures in your vram gives you the right skyrim experience. Just don't look back
No wonders Whiterun is the less stable area of the whole game - Stop ruining this city and nuke Morthal instead ! Nice texture though, cobblestones are consistent but it always ends with some annoying tiling. The slight moss addition and eroded stones really do the job.
Pfuscher artwork, a fine example of "Quality over Quantity" in the matter of FPS. No, I do not want your Gentleman's Guide 4K to 2K. I very much enjoy my Skyrim Slideshow Edition. Thank you, and good day. I said good day, sir.
EDIT: Tip! One thing that really give you more FPS, is an off board sound card. Not kidding, I have a Creative one (old but trusty), and it makes a huge difference, and the sound is better of course.
Got a 10 year old asus xonar, no clue if it gives fps. But it does coil whine extremely as soon as there is no sound. So I got winamp running at 0% nonstop. Which does not give frames ^^ But yeah the sound card probably takes some off the cpu
Slow day, eh? Always loved your textures, but my rig is a potato and everything would be a 1 fps....lol Someday though. Thanks for all you have done my friend.
What you are doing with the textures is out-standing (sorry, couldn't resist). This soft shimmer on the basalt-like stones is worth giving it every extra time it takes to look at. So no FPS, but frames for your awesome work. Thank you so much!

Still totally worth it.

Hey Pfuscher that really is 16 times the detail. o.O
