Changelogs
Version 1.2.2
Rebalanced armor rating on all robes to more appropriate numbers; previous values were an error.
Version 1.2.1
Corrected the recipe for the Padded Adept Robes (no bag) because it was using itself as a component. I am not a clever man.
Version 1.2
Finished and implemented Padded versions of the Expert and Master robes. ESL-flagged.
Version 1.1
Re-uploaded as an .esl-flagged .esp. No other changes.
Version 1.0
Initial release.
Vanilla Skyrim's college robes all have unenchanted variants, including hoods, but only a couple are actually available to acquire. Well, I fixed that.
The unenchanted versions of the Novice, Apprentice, and Adept robes (along with their matching hoods) are now fully implemented and available for purchase from Radiant Raiment as well as the College; I also added an unenchanted version of the Archmage boots as well as their previously unused variant. I've also forwarded the changes from Circlets or Masks With All Robes and Hoods (not required, but you should absolutely take a look and endorse), and added in versions of each of the mantled robes without the shoulder bag for both male and female.
Now you might be asking yourself, why call it "Protective Threads"? One because it was my brother's suggestion and I thought it was funny; two because of the extra addition that actually kicked this whole thing off. If you take any of the mantled robes to a tanning rack, you'll see a new recipe for a Padded Robe. Padded Robes convey a reasonable amount of armor (balanced around Blade and Blunt's armor formula), aren't terribly expensive to make, and don't interfere with Mage Armor... but also don't benefit from Light Armor perks.
