This is a simple, tiny file that replaces the BGS_Logo.BIK file that plays Bethesda's logo upon starting the game. This version also actually works on the current AE version. One file. No esp. No hassle. Only results.

All other versions/iterations of this type of mod no longer work--at least not for me--on today's AE version of the game. So I decided to download RAD video tools and make my own BGS logo intro skip for today's Skyrim, because nowhere else on the internet had a working version that didn't flashbang me with a single white frame before letting me get to the main menu. This one's a singular black frame, no flashbanging, no CTDs upon starting the game. Simple as that.
Installation: Open the zip folder, then drag and drop the "Data" folder within, into your main Skyrim directory, where the game's .exe file is located. It'll automatically overwrite the old file necessary and do its job as advertised. After a brief test, using Vortex works perfectly fine as well. So that's even less work for you.
If you would like to be safe, you may go into the Skyrim.exe directory > Data > Video, and rename the original file to BGS_Logo.BIK.old or something similar, in case you happen to obsess over having backups like I do.
