Overview -
This weapon mod contains my interpretation of the Black Knight Ultra Greatsword from the Dark Souls series . The weapon is poly-efficient and comes in three texture sizes - 1k, 2k, and 4k. As an ESP-FE this mod won't take a slot in your load order. The tools I used to create this mod are Blender 2.90, paint.net, Photoshop, Quixel Mixer, SSEEdit, and NIFSkope.
The Screenshots provided are taken with Hel's Cel Shading 2 and Community Shaders. This two graphically enhance my Skyrim's vibrance and saturation, so take note that in another setup, the colors may be a bit duller.
Included in the screenshot images is also a singular image of the weapon in NIFskope for those who are running a more vanilla graphics setup.
Weapon Lore -
The Black Knight Ultra Greatsword is one of the weapons wielded by the Black Knights of the Dark Souls series. Black Knights were former Silver Knights whose armor and weapons had been blackened by their fights and battles against demons. Despite this, they stayed loyal to their Lord Gwyn and can be found in the first game near the Kiln of the First Flame.
In appearance, the Black Knight Ultra Greatsword is a wondrously large greatsword that is seemingly impossible to wield due to its sheer size, weight, and misshapen blade. The blade is coated in a dark magenta ash color which contrasts with the patterned ornate gold metal on its hilt. It is truly an masterwork weapon befitting the confidence, loyalty, and elegance of a knight.

The Black Knight Ultra Greatsword is a well balanced Ultra Greatsword. It's not too heavy, nor too slow, however, it may not do as much damage as some of the heavier greatswords.

Crafting Recipe -
The Black Knight Ultra Greatsword becomes available to craft with the Ebony Smithing Perk. AddItemMenu and console commands are also other options for obtaining the weapon.
Black Knight Ultra Greatsword
- 1 Iron Ingot
- 3 Gold Ingot
- 8 Ebony Ingot
- 5 Leather Strips
The weapon is temperable with two ebony ingots.
Personal Notes and Future Updates -
- I think I've figured out cubemaps mostly. Made a custom one that I can probably use universally with all my weapons that isn't too shiny.
- I'm thinking either Frostmourne or the Warglaives of Azzinoth - I'm confident that my skills are up to par now
