Changelogs
A remake of the Moon Amulet from the Amulet of the Moon quest in 1K-4K.
Endorse it if you like it! It helps.

Includes:
  • New model and textures for the Moon Amulet. 1K, 2K, and 4K variants available.
  • I recommend the 2K version, but you will be quite safe with even the 1K version.
  • Complex material support for better looking metals.
  • Khajiit Ta'agra language inscription. Perhaps someone will figure out what it says.

Incompatible with:
Any mod that changes the same model and textures. Overwrite them.
Hopefully no patches are necessary, but I can make them if needed.

Installation:

Install with MO2 or Vortex.

Extra Info:
I did my best to avoid clipping, but even the default necklaces have some. Let me know if anything is broken.
There is a big improvement in the morph shapes and weights from my last mod. The metals and gems look much better as well.
Comment if there is any asset in particular you want me to do next.

FAQ:
Q: Why is there an ESP? Isn't it just a model replacer?
A: The vanilla version of the Moon Amulet uses a default model. An esp is necessary to redirect it to use a custom model. I'm not aware of a way around this.

Q: What is complex material? Do I need that?
A: Complex material is an ENB feature that lets you have better looking metal shading. You need it, otherwise it will look way too light and it won't look like metal. I could fake it (like many mods have done), but it would look worse, and I want to upload stuff with decent looking metals. If you don't have complex material enabled, enable it in the enbseries.ini. That's all you need to do.

Q: Why are there 3 NiTrishapes? Isn't that 3 drawcalls?
A: There's no better way to get decently looking gemstones with faked refraction, unfortunately. Otherwise, they would look like glass or like opaque reflective rocks.
