Valerica is a mother of a grown up daughter and was forced to spent ages among the trapped souls of Oblivion. Maybe you are here because you don't expect her to look like a winner of a Miss Solitude contest in her twenties or like a teenage dakimakura model. But you might guess how attractive she actually is, oder was... or would be if she weren't an undead vampire. At least that's my vision of Valerica and I think it works well with some overhauls of her daughter, my personal favorite is SerketHetyt's Serana.
I started to make this at the end of 2020 after I had stumbled over Vobla's fantastic Useless Ugly Face Resource (UUFR). I loved that one so much that I recreated Valerica and Annekke & Sylgja with it. Life kept me from making it ready for an upload on Nexus. With some time and a better understanding of modding I gave the overhaul an overhaul with a customized high poly head, fangs, some veins for the face and red eyes. I got Vobla's kind permission to use their assets. I also used art work from other authors who thankfully granted permission in the descriptions of their mods, see credits down below.
I hope you like it as I do, if you do like it at least a bit please give an endorsement. Don't ask me to change her appearance. If you don't like it just walk on, download something else or make your own mod. Let me know if there are technical or compatibility problems. And your screenshots of my mod are always appreciated!
Compatibility
Will probably conflict with any mod that changes anything about Valerica. If you're not sure you got something like that in your list put my mod to the end of it. USSEP changes are forwarded.
Installation
This replacer comes with custom face and body textures but will use whatever body type is installed as your standard. In the FOMOD installer choose a texture set that fits your default body (CBBE or UNP). The outfits you see in the screenshots are from other mods. If you want to give Valerica a decent outfit and take her with you on an adventure after she's returned to Castle Volkihar I recommend to install Nether's Follower Framework.
