About this mod
A small mod that adds a gateway between Fort Snowhawk and the Old Snowhawk ruins added by the Snowhawk Expanded mod.

What this mod tries to do is change this up, adding a gateway, loot and a token spider or two to the ruins, just to keep them interesting. The gateway and part of the city wall have been navmeshed too, so you may see a skeleton or necromancer unexpectedly ambush you, if you try to take on those spiders all by yourself. Likewise, followers should be able to follow you between the fort and town without getting lost (you have to be a little patient with them sometimes on the stairs; here's a bottleneck on one of the bends where two cells meet. Overall, the city ruins takes place over around four external cells, making it a nightmare to navmesh for a noob like me.)
Features:
1) More clutter around the city ruins.
2) More navmeshed spaces to allow greater accessibility for NPCs and followers
3) Gateway between fort and ruins
4) Some non-respawning monsters (to stop Hjaalmarch becoming overrun by spiders)
5) Loot! Lots of loot! Some of it may be quite hard (or even impossible) to get. This isn't a dungeon. It's a ruin. When a building falls down, the valuables are normally buried.
What this mod does NOT do:
The ruins won't be rebuilt into a functioning town. After Winterhold, Hjaalmarch is the poorest hold. Rebuilding Snowhawk is definately beyond the capabilities of Jarl Igrod. (The real reason is that I tried, but couldn't get the interior navmesh to work properly and I suck at writing quests.)
Potential Incompatibilities:
1) Mods that alter the Civil War quest. I don't do the Civil War questline myself, but, unlike the original mod, the exterior of Fort Snowhawk has had a number of changes (in order to fit in a gate). I don't know much about Civil War mods, but I imagine the changes to the Navmesh and exterior assets could potentially cause a conflict.
2) Any mod which changes the area around Fort Snowhawk. Again, NavMesh changes could well cause conflict, leading to a CTD on start-up.
3) There is an optional patch that should make the mod compatible with Northern Roads
Take this mod with a pinch of salt. I only started modding recently, so I'm sure I've made a number of major hiccups. If so, please be kind and let me know. I'll try to fix them (though it may be beyond my capabilities).
CHANGELOG:
Version 0.15 - A very minor update. This should fix any missing facegen and other mesh files. The Pilgrim's armour has also been made unique and unobtainable. This should hopefully reduce potential mod-conflict and leave the Ancient Falmer Armor as a reward for the Dawnguard DLC.
