In the real world, many conditions can change how snow looks and feels, and it is hard to say what it should look like in Skyrim. I wasn't satisfied with existing snow textures, so I created my own. I made untouched fluffy snow as the main texture, with snowed-over cliff-face rocks and frozen footpaths.
To get this look you need parallax enabled, without parallax it will look like shit as the parallax shadows do most of the work here. So you need Community Shaders+Complex Parallax Materials or ENB! Don't forget to enable terrain parallax!!! If your Community Shaders doesn't work, check if you downloaded both required files here, one of which goes to your Skyrim folder!
Highly recommended mods:
Vanilla HDR
Soft Shadows
2k1k potato PC version is stuck being processed on nexus side...
Snowstone01 not included because I couldn't find it in game. If you know the location please let me know. Road textures not included as I use Northern Roads, but I can add them.
I used textures from ambientcg.com as a base, so go there if you want uncompressed source materials (I did modify those a lot though).
