UPDATE- Don't be mad, but you know those windows that are the main selling point of this mod? I forgot to add them to the files and only found out yesterday. The windows are now added and I fixed a bug with one of the walls actually being a door.

Are you seeking a property with a lovely little upstairs hovel with a spectacular view of the highly depressing city of Windhelm? Then you’ve come to the right place!

Greyskin’s Loft is a small, unassuming lower-class home found in the premier local that is Windhelm’s Grey Quarter. It’s typically reserved for greyskins, but so long as you’re anything less than nord you’ll feel right at home.

Decadence is for those who don’t have to work for a living. The loft has a host of rustic furniture and aesthetically pleasing rotting floorboards. If you look closely you can even see small nests of rats inside! Crazy how nature thrives in even the strangest of places.

Aside from an incredible view of the poor quarter, the loft also features several other amenities, such as; crafting stations, alchemy labs, a hidden room with respawning harvestables, idle markers for followers, a bath with relatively hot water, an extra bed for a follower or estranged spouse and an incredible view!

Something small to note is that this house replaces the home of Belyn Hlaalu, a resident of the Grey Quarter. I figured his house would be the ideal location to replace for two reasons. One, he has a farm right outside Windhelm that he can easily live in, and I have transferred all radiant quest items (such as ledgers) to the farm as well, and have also reformatted his AI packages to treat his farm as his home. Two, who gives a frog’s fat ass about Belyn Hlaalu? Seriously, I didn’t even know the guy’s name until I evicted the filthy bastard from his house, so fuck em. If you install this house mid-playthrough he may not get the memo that his home has been reprocessed, so he may act as your home is his. If this happens, feel free to bash his brains in. It’s not murder, as dark elves are not people.

One other small issue is that if you have too many followers sometimes they can be pushed out of the walls when entering the loft, as the entrance is very small.

That’s all! Feel free to submit screenshots, and enjoy your new hovel!

Tip jar is open, I will spend everything on illegal substances.
