About this mod
Disables the base game's gem shower effect of the perk Prowler's Profit, and adds a boost to Pickpocket and Lockpicking.

The Prowler's Profit granted upon completing the quest 'No Stone Unturned' aka Barenziah's Dragonballs makes dungeon containers full of gems enough to dive into and swim in. While I found it fun at first, this effectively takes the game's economy system to the point it becomes meaningless, as you'd be able to take anything if it can be bought. It's not explicitly a problem, as it seems to be intended, but some might find it becoming an issue, as it pretty much nullify one aspect of the game.
This mod is an attempt to address that issue, by getting rid of the original gem-shower effect, and adding 50% of permanent buffs to Pickpocket and Lockpick instead.
Detail
Every Leveled Items has chance to spawn nothing in the list. For the list that contains the gems added by the Prowler's Profit, that chance is a global value, which is governed by 'No Stone Unturned" quest. This global is set 100 at first, which means the gems list has 100% chance of not spawning at all. And upon the completion of the quest, it is set to 0, which means the gems list has 0% chance of not spawning, thus it starts to be there.
This mod simply makes the No Spawn Chance untied to the Global so it's fixed to be 100.
The perk itself actually does nothing other than showing on active effects. So in the base game, adding the perk through console command doesn't apply the effect, because the effect is not actually a perk effect. This mod attaches the mentioned buff to the perk.
And a slight change to the description of the perk, to somewhat better reflect the altered effect.
The Global and quest script left untouched.
Recommendations
While it is not required, the numbers are set to be balanced around Simonrim setup. It's worth 2 full-powered "Fortify Security" enchantments.
But it's not a requirement, and this mod will function as a simple and permanent booster for your honest labors, whether with magnificent SimonMagus' mods or not.
