Pirate-King: A Velehk Sain Overhaul
Deep in the Midden, beneath the College of Winterhold, there lies a peculiar Daedric gauntlet. Should you go out of your way to find the rings bound to this gauntlet, you can summon the Daedra bound to the cursed relic: The Pirate-King of the Abecean, Velehk Sain.
He's level 4. And has no unique equipment.
This is obviously a poor state of affairs for such a noteworthy enemy (he even has a book about him in-game!) The legendary Velehk Sain now begins at level 14 and levels with the player up to level 50 and wields a brand-new Daedric scimitar and a unique set of clothing perfect for those that like to hit hard and fast. Should you choose to do so, taking his offer to free him also provides much better rewards than in vanilla, including a guaranteed 1,000 Septims. However, for Conjuration mages, killing the Dremora pirate could offer an even more tantalizing reward...
Equipment: The Pirate-King of the Abecean deserves fitting clothes and a mighty blade. If you can slay him, you can claim the following items:
Blade of Bloody Waters: Deals 4 Bleeding damage per second for 10 seconds. Reduces enemy Armor Rating by 150 for 30 seconds.
Pirate-King's Garb: You deal 25% more damage with power attacks. You reflect 50% of incoming melee damage back at your attacker.
Pirate-King's Boots: You can walk on water.
Note: The Blade of Bloody Waters can also be found in Velehk Sain's Locker. However, his clothes cannot be gained this way.
Spells:
Using the power of Velehk Sain's Heart and the Atronach Forge, Master Conjurers with access to a Sigil Stone can gain the following spell (Requires Form-List Manipulator to work):
Conjure Velehk Sain: Summons Velehk Sain for 60 seconds.
Note: This spell tome can only be gained by choosing to kill Sain and taking his heart. A recipe is included in the Investigator's Chest alongside the rings.
Credits: Komegaki aka Genskicc, for the unique icons for the spell and items included in this mod. LeanWolf, for the original Daedric sword and scimitar meshes used to create the Blade of Bloody Waters. Xavbio, for the scimitar textures used to make the handle for the Blade. The SimonRim Discord, for being great.
