The Mod
After making the move to Community Shaders I had really enjoyed the extra frames to add even more draw calls to my game, but after scouring Nexus for a ReShade preset that tickled my fancy I never found one that satisfied my tastes. I like my game to look gloomy while also having it's own sense of beauty and most of the ReShade presets around, while looking awesome, go for more of a vibrant approach.
Some of my favourite ENB presets are Ebony ENB and Dawnfire ENB made by mechanicalpanda and after a while of going back and forth in my mind debating with myself about whether the FPS cost was worth it I decided... fine then, I'll do it myself!
And so here we are with me publishing my second ever mod after I had thought I wouldn't even have created one. I hope you all enjoy!
Installation
Install as you would any other ReShade preset
Compatibility
Being a ReShade preset... it should be compatible with everything. This preset was originally designed with Vivid Weathers in mind, but I have tested a handful of other weather mods such as Obsidian, Azurite II, NAT Standalone, Mythical Ages and Vanilla and they all looked great. If anyone wants to share their screenshots of how this preset looks with other weather mods you would be awesome!
As for performance, I personally lose around 10 FPS at most when using this preset and that's usually just in the Falkreath forest and other usual performance dropping areas. I have updated the mod to be more performance friendly, at most I am losing 3 FPS now.
(Potential) Future Plans
Maaayyyybe make the preset work for other weather mods if things don't look right? Idk what sort of updates do you do for a ReShade preset?
