Due to health reasons I know it is only a matter of time until I pass away. I can no longer support this mod. It is expressly forbidden to modify this mod or to re-release it in any way including translations.

I'm still fairly new to Skyrim, so I only recently found out that Fort Greymoor gets occupied after the Battle of Whiterun in the Civil War quest line. But what f I don't want to do that and see Whiterun damaged in the battle? Not everyone plays the Civil War quest line. Also, I read that if you take out all of the bandits that the fort would be reoccupied by Imperials, but that never happened for me. I'd take out the bandits repeatedly and a few days later they would be back.

So, I made this Mod, mostly for me, but if you like it, enjoy. It's a makeover of Fort Greymoor, removing the bandits, adding a heap of Imperial soldiers and some Whiterun guards. I did want to fil it just with the Whiterun guards, but almost all of them walked off. I've also added a small vege garden, replaced the well, refurbished 2 collapsed towers and much of the wall, added a small temple to heal the injured, added some trees and lots of other small tweaks.

I also thought, seriously, why is this fort overrun by bandits in the first place? It is within sight of Whiterun and Dragon's Reach castle. Surely the Jarl's up there and asking;
"Proventus, who's occupying that fort down the valley?"
"Well you Jarlness, ahh, some bandits are."
"Bandits! Put a garrison in there at once!"
"Well your Jarlsberg, the castle coffers are a bit lacking in gold to recruit a garrison."
"Then get a message to the Imperials. Get them to garrison the fort! We'll put some of our own guards in as well, but it is about time the Imperials made themselves useful."

And that's pretty much part of the back story of this mod. You can read more if you find the Captain's journal on the back of the cart in the fort.

I also added a stand alone fort on the road north from Whiterun, near Whitewatch Tower. It is designed to work with various Whiterun external expansions such as JK's Whiterun Outskirts , Capital Whiterun Expansion , Whiterun Riverside Expansion , Whiterun Valley - Hold Expansion and more. If you look at the screenshot you can see how it fits in with the other forts and gates in the area. So it can be used stand alone or with the other Mods.
