    Because people don't read and then complain, let's make something very clear:

    IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST PLAYTHROUGH OF THE MOD, DO NOT LISTEN TO ORLANDO. DO NOT DO WHAT HE WANTS AT ANY POINT. IGNORE HIM. DON'T EVEN TALK TO TO HIM IF YOU KNOW YOU HAVE NO SELF-CONTROL AND ABSOLUTELY MUST DO WHATEVER AN NPC TELLS YOU TO DO.

    Doing what he wants will skip the entire story and land you right in the finale, with zero knowledge of what's going on and no option to return to Skyrim until you're done (or reload a save ... which you should do, unless you're THAT committed to your actions). Orlando is there for those who already know the mod and only want to play the last act. Everyone else, IGNORE HIM!

    If you complain about getting stuck in some wasteland and having no clue what you're doing there anyway, I'll know that:

    - you haven't read the description on the original VIGILANT page,
    - you haven't read the description here,
    - you haven't read this sticky.

    And you'll be sacrificed to Molag Bal. No mercy.

    A potentially game-breaking incompatibility has been found by LemonicDemon:


    WARNING: Do _not_ use the mod " Dead NPC Cleaner " with the VIGILANT. It will remove a body in a way which prevents you from progressing in the 1st part (at least) of the mod. Happy gaming!

    CHANGELOG 1.7.2:

    Translation:
    - updated for Vigilant 1.7.2
    - reverted Nirn's Origin Ring -> Nir's Origin Ring (back to original)
    - renamed Chef River Jumper -> Chef Jumps-Over-River (closer to in-world naming conventions)
    - reverted everything related to Naarifin -> Narfin (back to how it was a while ago before I decided to see connections where there were none - sorry, my bad)
    - renamed Nemesis -> Pitier (the original Japanese literally says "one who sends down pity" ... English is just terrible sometimes and has no good one-word-synonyms)
    - a few other corrections and tweaks to some dialogue (Pale Feet, Anatomancer and the Pipers should be just a little more understandable now ... still, good luck figuring out their gibberish on the first try)

    Voiced plugin:
    - carried over new boss tweaks from the main mod where needed -> get ready to be curbstomped, now for real

    In regards to complaints about the subtitles and voices not matching 100%:

    This is neither a bug nor something I will be "fixing".

    Translation gets corrected, tweaked and so on. Voice files cannot be brought in line without re-recording them, which will NOT happen until the entire trilogy is complete (as I keep repeating). I will also NOT host two different translation files just to keep voices and subtitles consistent because it's too much of a hassle to deal with X amount of different versions of translation.

    If it bothers you that much, uninstall voice pack and use only the silent translation.

    Hi I have a technical(?) problem on my end I can't figure out where I hope someone can point me in the right direction to the place where I should ask and discuss this in detail.

    Currently every boss immediately dies / turns to ash after it's spawned without me doing a thing and without their health being reduced by even 1.


    EDIT: Ok... found a solution for this problem, but I would still like to know in general where I could post such questions. Thanks!

      Not here. This is a translation, and I will not offer technical support with anything more than typos and mistranslations.

      By sheer chance I do know both the cause and solution of your issue, though, so just this once, here you go:

      The cause: magicAttachAshPileOnDeath and Disintegrate Perk fix script (no longer available on Nexus, but may have been rolled in some other patch)
      The solutionScript Fix - MagicAttachAshPileOnDeath ... by none other than Vicn

      Technical issues should be posted on the mod's original page, and since the comments there are disabled, use the bug section - as long as you're sure it's actually a bug. This was more a mod conflict, but a well-known one, so you probably would have gotten a solution from Vicn, too.

      Thanks!! I know this is most definitely not the right place to ask for technical / mod support.
      As I said I was more hoping someone could point me towards a forum / discord chat / ... me where I could ask such questions in the future. I didn't think the bugs section was the right place to ask questions that were unlikely to be a bug of VIGILANT and more a problem of interaction between mods (as your solution confirms - thanks again!).

      Install Crash Logger and debug for the actual cause from the report it generates.

      Voices will be done/redone when the entire Owlc0da is content complete (presumably when Glenmoril gets its endings).

    SPOILER act 1:

    I HATE that there's no way what so ever to spare Balor. He is a good guy and i am trying to be one too. I understand Vigilants have thick sticks in their butts, so it's lore friendly, but it would be nice to have a way to spare Balor and trick Altano by making him think you killed him with persuasion.

    I don't know how to hide text as spoiler, so just highlight to read.

    The quests seem very interesting so far. I don't understand why the voice actors couldn't use a pop filter tho, their acting is great otherwise, so it's kinda a shame.

    Detected Version Mismatch. The funny part of this error is that both the BSA and ESM are at version 1.7.3 and it even says so. I've rebuilt the game and reinstalled the original game, the English voiced ESP (which is loading), and a few other add on mods like CBBE files. Why do I get this error?

    I mean, I'm feeling very called out, but got it! I don't know who this is or where they are, but if I meet an Orlando I will turn tail XD I'm so excited to play this. Thank you for your hard work and the laugh I got from the sticky.

    Is this still relevant in 1.7.3?

    NOTE: With recent content updates to VIGILANT (1.6.0+), this addon no longer covers every character in the mod. They will be voiced at a later date, after Vicn finalizes his work. Thank you for understanding.

      Yes. No revoicing has been done yet, and won't be until Glenmoril is finished (plus any potential future updates to Dac0da, Vigilant and Unslaad).

    For my next playthrough, I am considering doing this along with Gray Cowl of Nocturnal, Legacy of the Dragonborn, and Serana SDA as my big mods.  Should I be okay with being conflict-free?
