    Because people don't read and then complain, let's make something very clear:

    IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST PLAYTHROUGH OF THE MOD, DO NOT LISTEN TO ORLANDO. DO NOT DO WHAT HE WANTS AT ANY POINT. IGNORE HIM. DON'T EVEN TALK TO TO HIM IF YOU KNOW YOU HAVE NO SELF-CONTROL AND ABSOLUTELY MUST DO WHATEVER AN NPC TELLS YOU TO DO.

    Doing what he wants will skip the entire story and land you right in the finale, with zero knowledge of what's going on and no option to return to Skyrim until you're done (or reload a save ... which you should do, unless you're THAT committed to your actions). Orlando is there for those who already know the mod and only want to play the last act. Everyone else, IGNORE HIM!

    If you complain about getting stuck in some wasteland and having no clue what you're doing there anyway, I'll know that:

    - you haven't read the description on the original VIGILANT page,
    - you haven't read the description here,
    - you haven't read this sticky.

    And you'll be sacrificed to Molag Bal. No mercy.

    A potentially game-breaking incompatibility has been found by LemonicDemon:


    WARNING: Do _not_ use the mod " Dead NPC Cleaner " with the VIGILANT. It will remove a body in a way which prevents you from progressing in the 1st part (at least) of the mod. Happy gaming!

    CHANGELOG 1.7.2:

    Translation:
    - updated for Vigilant 1.7.2
    - reverted Nirn's Origin Ring -> Nir's Origin Ring (back to original)
    - renamed Chef River Jumper -> Chef Jumps-Over-River (closer to in-world naming conventions)
    - reverted everything related to Naarifin -> Narfin (back to how it was a while ago before I decided to see connections where there were none - sorry, my bad)
    - renamed Nemesis -> Pitier (the original Japanese literally says "one who sends down pity" ... English is just terrible sometimes and has no good one-word-synonyms)
    - a few other corrections and tweaks to some dialogue (Pale Feet, Anatomancer and the Pipers should be just a little more understandable now ... still, good luck figuring out their gibberish on the first try)

    Voiced plugin:
    - carried over new boss tweaks from the main mod where needed -> get ready to be curbstomped, now for real

    In regards to complaints about the subtitles and voices not matching 100%:

    This is neither a bug nor something I will be "fixing".

    Translation gets corrected, tweaked and so on. Voice files cannot be brought in line without re-recording them, which will NOT happen until the entire trilogy is complete (as I keep repeating). I will also NOT host two different translation files just to keep voices and subtitles consistent because it's too much of a hassle to deal with X amount of different versions of translation.

    If it bothers you that much, uninstall voice pack and use only the silent translation.

    Is this still relevant in 1.7.3?

    NOTE: With recent content updates to VIGILANT (1.6.0+), this addon no longer covers every character in the mod. They will be voiced at a later date, after Vicn finalizes his work. Thank you for understanding.

      Yes. No revoicing has been done yet, and won't be until Glenmoril is finished (plus any potential future updates to Dac0da, Vigilant and Unslaad).

    For my next playthrough, I am considering doing this along with Gray Cowl of Nocturnal, Legacy of the Dragonborn, and Serana SDA as my big mods.  Should I be okay with being conflict-free?

    I've played Vigilant for the first time with this mod, I'm currently in the 3rd act I think. I know that for what I'm about to say I'm going to sound very rude and ungrateful, but the voice acting of almost everyone (except the khajiit) is so bad I honestly prefer the silent option now.
    I don't know if the cast is just bad, or the voice direction could be improved, or what.
    I hope once the final version of Vigilant is released and re-recording has begun, that everyone provide a great performance for a great update to this mod.

      i dont think you are being rude but you probably have too high of expectations. its a mod my guy, you cant expect professional level VA. especially not for free.

    Amazing mod with an amazing plot! Honestly, it had me emotinal by the end of the quest. I wonder how much time it took for the dev team and to the voice actors to finish it, the scripts and everything else.

    For some reason none of the voices are working all i see is the subtitles, i tried reinstalling ,switching version, ran it on ssedits but still cant find the solution

      If you're using Vortex, make very sure that Vigilant Voiced.esp is actually enabled in your load order. For some reason, Vortex loves disabling it, and that results in no voices.

    I have no idea why but this mod makes my skyrim just not load for some reason, i tried reinstalling both mods and everything. Went through my entire modlist multiple times and everything it was this mod making my game not load. Its just stuck on the skyrim logo with the little loading symbol in the bottom right. If you have any fixes or any ideas please give me them, thank you.

      I finally fixed it!! For whatever reason 'Meridia's Order - Vigilant Synergy Patch' made my game just load forever so yeah if you have a similar issue it could be this mod

    nvm. good mod, got a bit lost though and the guide is out of date. thankfully its not -too- hard to get the jist of what to do
