Changelogs
This mod adds custom voice lines for the ten most frequently used voice types in Immersive Wenches, tweaks player dialogue, and expands other written content elements.

I love the life that IW brings to my taverns and roads. Initially, I intended to fix a few grammatical errors and bring the writing style in line with vanilla Skyrim dialogue to enhance immersion in my own game, but, you know, scope creep happened. Adding some custom NPC lines and emulated voices couldn't be that much more effort, right? (I was wrong. So wrong.)

Hat off to the original author; designing a narrative from scratch is incredibly challenging. After looking under the hood to hook things up, I'm in awe of the creativity on display. I hope this does it justice.

Immersive Wenches Dialogue Boost contains:

  • 1,000+ custom voice lines (fuz'd so it's not a gigantic mod)
  • Player dialogue tweaks
  • Buff description tweaks
  • Drink description tweaks
  • Quest description tweaks
  • Bandit slaver note tweaks
  • Death notes expanded content
  • Miscellaneous other written element tweaks

Note: The embeds seem to skip the first half second, so the first word is clipped. These are fine in-game.

Compatibility
No Conflict
  • Buxom Wench Yuriana Nexus version (1.5.4ASE at time of writing) because this version does not share resources with Immersive Wenches.
  • Flower Girls and "FlowerGirls SE - Immersive Wenches Patch" from the FG mod page because it adds its own new top level dialogue option and does not touch dialogue from IW.
  • Immersive Wenches KS Hair SMP Patch because it modifies the outfit records, instead of equipping hair directly on the NPCs themselves.
  • KS Hair HDT SMP for Wenches because it modifies the outfit records, instead of equipping hair directly on the NPCs themselves.
  • Lein's Wenches Replacer because it replaces the underlying models and textures that are used by the NPCs, instead of changing the file paths on the NPCs themselves.

Minor Conflict
  • IW-specific appearance replacer mods (except those above) because I adjusted the voicetype for some of the NPCs. A selection of patches are available in the "Optional" files for this mod. If the replacer you use is not covered, please load it after Dialogue Boost so you get the updated appearances. The extra dialogue will still work, you'll just hear the FemaleSultry and FemaleYoungEager voicetypes a lot more often, and therefore hear more repeated lines because the lines are linked to the voicetypes.
  • Immersive Wenches Disable Bandits because the script it tweaks to disable the bandits is also tweaked by Dialogue Boost to allow quest completion even if some of the 5 unique NPCs die. There's a patch in the "Optional" files for this mod.
  • Immersive Wenches for OStim REDUX because it adjusts the NPC's response to the one player dialogue path that leads to getting a blessing. If you use this mod, please load it after Dialogue Boost so you get the updated interaction. It will revert the talk option to vanilla ("Take a break gorgeous... we need to relax right now."). I recommend against patching it because Dialogue Boost's adjustments don't make sense with the REDUX context. The rest of Dialogue Boost's extra dialogue will still work.

Major Conflict

No Conflict, But No Compatibility
  • Immersive Wenches Patreon version (1.6.1SE or 1.7SE Beta at time of writing) because all formIDs are different. Dialogue Boost simply does not work at all with the Patreon version because it cannot hook into it. That also means that when the next IW version releases on Nexus, all mods depending on it, including appearance replacers and Dialogue Boost, will have to be entirely rebuilt. UPDATE 10/31/24: Upon further learning, I've realized the FormID shift may be due to how I tested for conflicts. New test incoming...
  • Yuriana Patreon version (1.5.6Beta at time of writing) because it requires IW version 1.7SE Beta (Patreon), while Dialogue Boost requires IW version 1.6.0SE (Nexus). You'd have to run two versions of IW and having a twin for every IW NPC gets a bit silly. Example video.
