About this mod

What's better than a rat-like creature that follows you around and fetches you cheese? A chubbier, even *more* rat like creature that follows you around and fetches you cheese!

Someone recently told me that while they liked my other Skritch mod Albino Skritch with Red Blue Black Teal Pink or Purple Collar at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com), they'd altered his eyes to be brown. I started off wanting to offer some alternative eye textures for those who might prefer that option as well, as well as correcting some of the texture issues with the original that bothered me (namely, some black, pixely spots on his fur that happens sometimes when you lighten a darker texture) but then I got carried away 😅
There are 3 mesh options:
- The new, more rat-like mesh, with larger, rounder ears, a smaller nose, larger eyes, chubbier body (you cannot convince me that this little food-nabbing hoarder should not canonically be chonky), and longer, skinnier, smoother tail with the fur removed there.
- The original skeever mesh, but with a chubbier body, and the fur removed on the tail to match the new tail textures.
- The original skeever mesh, with only the fur removed on the tail to match the new tail textures.
And there are four fur color options: black, brown, grey, and white. Each has options for normal, big, and even bigger irises in a variety of colors.
*I've now added two versions that look like two of my rats in real life, Albus and Buckbeak. No customization on this one though, and they come with the more rat-like mesh.

There are a few new collar options as well in a more reptile-skin like texture, in addition to the original collar options from my first Skritch mod.

A disclaimer: He has at least one bent whisker, and his tail on the more rat-like mesh is a little borked at certain angles. The tail at least I assume has something to do with the skeleton not quite matching the length of the new tail, but since I don't know how to properly mess with skeletons (yet), it's gonna have to stay like it is for now. If it helps, maybe just pretend he was born with a wonky tail or the poor baby broke his tail once, I don't know 😅

Let me know if you have any requests, and I'll see what I can do :)

**MO2 Users, I believe I have fixed the issues with the FOMOD installing properly, but let me know if there are still any problems.
