Play as a Far Traveller, a human from our world, mysteriously transported across dimensions to the magical lands of Nirn. Granted new powers and abilities, and called to a grand destiny, Skyrim is yours to explore and shape. But there is a catch, and a large one at that. The Far Traveller hails from a world devoid of magic, and simply traveling to a world of magic and spells is not enough to give them the innate ability to wield magicka. The Far Traveler is a Magical Null, completely devoid of any magicka, and unable to wield even the simplest of spells. However, there is a silver lining to be found here. Just as the Far Traveller cannot exert control over magicka, magicka in turn has little to no effect on the Far Traveller.
Despite their lack of magicka, the Far Traveller seems to wield an almost instinctive ability to bend souls to their will, and has a talent for enchanting all items, as well as staffs. Perhaps this is due to their dragonborn nature and draconic soul, or maybe their trip through dimensions had an effect on their own soul and understanding of how such things work. Regardless, by using the magical power derived from soul gems, the Far Traveller might just be able to find a method by which they can wield magic in their own way.

Choose which of the four vanilla human races (Nord, Imperial, Redguard, or Breton) your Far Traveller uses as a base during install. This allows compatibility with RaceMenu presets and visual mods built for your selected race.
Custom Racial Powers
Select from three unique racial powers at the start of the game, each offering distinct advantages to match different playstyles. These powers lean into the Far Traveller’s otherworldly nature and soul-based strength.
Custom Alternate Start
A very simple, optional add-on for the Alternate Start: Live Another Life mod that allows the player to wake up in Helgen, just after the events of the vanilla start, while wearing unique modern clothing.
Immersive College of Winterhold Entry
As someone incapable of casting even the simplest spell, gaining entry to the College requires a different approach. A new custom method of entry has been added for the Far Traveller.
Voiced Personal Quest (Beta)
The beginnings of a fully voiced personal quest for the Far Traveller, exploring why they've found themselves in Nirn. This story will continue in future updates.
Version 1.0.0 Features:
When installing, you have the option to choose which vanilla race of man you want to use as the base for the Far Traveler Race. This allows you to use racemenu presets intended to be used on the race you choose as a base.
Custom Alternate Start:
A very simple add-on for the Alternate Start: Live Another Life mod that allows the player to start the game in Helgen, just after the events of the vanilla start, while wearing unique modern clothing. But it’s not required! There shouldn’t be any immersion breaking moments if using the vanilla start instead.
Minor Dialogue Edits:
A handful of dialogue options have been edited to better suit this race.

The player's magicka will always remain at zero.
Magicka Resistance - Magical attacks seem to lose their power upon reaching you.
Magical attacks against the player deal 10% of their original damage. This effect is constant and permanent.
Silencing Strike - For 10 seconds, any enemy struck by the player has their magicka drained to 0.
OR
Soul Authority - Drains 25 Health and 15 Stamina from all nearby enemies, staggering them, and transfers it to the player.
OR
Planeswalk - Briefly phases the player out of reality, making them immune to all damage for 8 seconds. Enemies lose track of the player during this time.

More content for the Far Traveller’s personal quest, including new characters and story branches.
Additional race-specific dialogue for a variety of NPCs throughout Skyrim for deeper immersion.
Add a RaceCompatibility patch so that the player will be treated as if they’re a part of the base race chosen during install.
Expanded interactions with major factions and quests.

Install using Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex, and select your desired options from the fomod. Make sure to install Alternate Start - Live Another Life if using the start add-on. DO NOT install manually. Plugin load order should be: Alternate Start - Live Another Life>IZ_FarTraveller>IZ_FarTraveller_[Race]Patch>[Any mods needing a patch]>[Patches for said mod]. Nord is the default race and therefore does not have a base race patch like the others.
