New custom high poly heads:

High Poly Children
gives Child races a custom high poly head with a ton of new sliders for customization. This will drastically ease the making of younger looking characters. Humans and mer have their own head and sliders and beast races have their own.

New appearances and New clothes:

All vanilla NPCs have a new look! Dozen of new outfits were added.

New vanilla based races:

Vanilla races were also expanded, currently including child version of:

  • Argonian,
  • Breton,
  • Dark elf,
  • High elf,
  • Imperial,
  • Khajiit,
  • Nord,
  • Orc,
  • Redguard,
  • Wood elf

and their vampire equivalents!

Playable (optional):

Makes child races fully functional and playable. Few still have their immortal status to prevent them from breaking quests, and some bellow hood measures are introduced to keep them on respectful side. Other than that, they behave like normal NPCs.

They are able to equip all clothes and armor, although to get "right fit" for their body shape third party mods are needed. It is recommended to use CBBE, HIMBO and OBody (they use their own appropriate body, this is just for outfits) and right preset (zHPC Shape preset) is to be selected with OBody menu. Configuration file can automate this. Instead that, included Child specific outfits can be used. You are able to buy them in game from vendors.

Character Creation quick guide:

For human and mer races in Character creation menu, go to Head section. Scroll down to Head Shape 1H or 2H. Adjust them for 0.5 to 1.0. Next choose nose, mouth, brows and so on. Beast races usually look good enough with some minor tweaks like bigger eyes.

I recommend using mods that allow all face parts and hairs to be used for both male and female. Both males and females use female faceparts. This will remove issues like floating eyes or hairs.

For extended customization it is recommended to use:

Tip jar:

Compatibility:

Generally, should be compatible with any mod using its own or vanilla assets.
It is not compatible with mods that edit same characters as this one.

Appearance only version should be the most compatible, and it may be used with other mods that do not edit character NPC records.
Playable version will more likely than not have some conflicts.

Any other mods that add more NPCs will need a patch.

Troubleshooting (assuming this mod itself is not at fault):

  • Characters not showing in Creation menu or in-game => Start a new game
  • Character having "black-face" or "potato face" => Conflict in meshes and/or texture folders or incorrect .esp
