Katariah I was the thirteenth empress of the Septim Dynasty. Her forty-six-year reign was one of the most celebrated in Tamriel's history, and she was popular with the common people.

She was a member of the prominent Ra'athim Clan of Ebonheart and Duchess of Vvardenfell. In 3E 141, on the orders of Emperor Magnus Septim, Katariah was married to the Emperor's son, Pelagius Septim, King of Solitude, who was known for his eccentric behavior.
A legend holds that when her husband was crowned Emperor Pelagius Septim III, he fainted when the Red Dragon Crown was placed on his head, but Katariah held him up so only those closest to the Ruby Throne could see what had happened.

Due to Pelagius III's madness, Katariah and the Elder Council made all the decisions and tried to keep Pelagius from embarrassing everyone. When Pelagius was sent to a private asylum, and Katariah was proclaimed Empress Regent. There were also absurd rumors that the Emperor was actually sane and that she was part of a conspiracy to keep him locked away.

In 3E 153, Pelagius died on a warm night in Sun's Dawn after a brief fever in his cell at the Temple of Kynareth on the Isle of Betony, and Katariah was officially crowned Empress of Tamriel.

A strong memory of Katariah was still remaining in the tragically maimed mind of Pelagius, a shade that tagged along with you when you came back from the Mad Emperor's mind; and now she wants to follow you in your adventures. Isnt that cool???!!! 

Just complete the quest "The Mind of Madness", when you return to the real world Katariah will be waiting to be recruited inside the Pelagius Wing, hopefully not too distant from the access door.

This mod does not alter the vanilla quest DA15, but add a line in the vanilla quest DA15Return: a little quest that starts automatically after DA15 completes and just teleport the player back into the Pelagius's Wing and gives them back their items. 

I don't think a tonn of mods on the Nexus modify the DA15Return, but if you prefer you can let the other mod overwrite the 2 files "QF_DA15Return_0010FF8F" in both the folders "Scripts" and "Source/Scripts" in my mod (or delete them).

My mod will still work and make Katariah appear in your game through a SM Node, but you will have to exit the Wing and come back in again to make it activate, because the game does not consider travel to and from Pelagius' Mind as a change of cells... Y_Y
