About this mod
I did a lot of testing for generating terrain lod and I have found a way to do so near perfectly. Hereby I present to you terrain lod for the fantastic Tomato's Landscapes.

- Donations
I have generated lods for Tomato's landscapes as well as Vanaheimr landscapes. If you use other landscape mods, then please generate it on your own and follow the instructions below.
Available files:
- Includes a FoMod to pick either the FULL version that generated meshes and textures. This is for ease of install and probably doesn't break your lod. This is generated on a clean vanilla profile with Icy Mesh Remaster and ERM enabled.
- Alternativaly there is a texture only version within the FoMod, this is useful if you wish to cut down on your lod generation and will probably be optimal if you have a big modlist containing many landscape edits and changes. (Probably town/city/architecture/landscape mods etc) Only generate the meshes for your setup and you are good to go.
Installation of the main files:
This is only if you do not want to run terrain lod and simply use Tomato's landscapes and nothing else.
- Simply install HD terrain Noise Texture and let it win every conflict (if there is conflict)
- Then simply install the main file. Pick if you want the meshes or not.
These files are generated on a vanilla modlist with not added changes. If you have mods that change terrain then you probably need to pick the textures only. Mods like JK's skyrim do not change terrain, but mods like Ryn's can change terrain, for example the giant camp outside Whiterun.
Generating Terrain Lod:
~setting up xLodgen
- Make sure you have the HD Terrain Noise Texture and make sure it overwrites and wins any conflicts in your mod program. This is very important
- For BDS2 and BDS3 users I would check Projected Diffuse Patch Hub, Tomato's landscape and Atlantean landscape do NOT need this patch. Beware! not all landscape mods have a patch for this. This is at your own discretion and I am unable to help with such.
- Please make sure that you install xLodgen Resource and preferably pick the extended version. Be sure to place the ESM at the top of your load order, right after USSEP.
Let me clarify that these are the settings I use, if you want to use different settings then do as you please. This guide is no absolute, this is just how I do it and it gives me near seamless results.
For reference you can read up on the dyndolod page and on the step mod page on what else you can change and adjust for xLodgen settings.
These following settings are the ones I use for generating terrain lod. I included LOD32 (the default map) settings that I based on ACMOS it's recommendations. These work flawlessly without ACMOS too and gives you a very smooth map either way.
