When you talk to Mirabelle Ervine to get your free robes, she'll also gift you two vouchers, you can then go to Urag (the librarian) and trade them for spells of your choosing. He has a healthy selection of mostly low-level tomes you can choose from.
Masters of stealth may find more of these vouchers up for grabs. 😉
