What is this?


A brand new overhaul for the town of Riverwood, set to be first in a series of mods redesigning and "breathing new life" into existing towns and villages. It replaces all of the buildings with custom models (courtesy of JPSteel2) and adds new buildings populated by a few new NPCs. Every building has a unique interior, the new characters have full schedules, and everything is fully navmeshed. The goal is to give Riverwood it's own unique look and feel while seamlessly fitting into the rest of Skyrim, so everything was designed to be lore-friendly and not overly-complicated.

What does it change?

  • Every building has a new design and detailed interiors.
  • Riverwood now has an apothecary, which will sell potions and alchemy ingredients.
  • A fisherman lives in a new house near the bridge, and will wear fishing gear if you have the patch.
  • The guards now have a proper barracks on the south side of town.
  • Orgnar has a house next to the Inn; his schedule is unchanged for compatibility.
  • Many added details such as an expanded garden and stables for the inn, a smelter for Alvor, and a small cemetery.
  • Forwards changes from USSEP and addresses oversights by Bethesda.

What about LOD?

For the best experience, use DynDOLOD to generate LOD for the area!

A patch for JK's Skyrim is provided in the optional files and will disable JK's edits to Riverwood.
Other Riverwood overhauls such as JK's Riverwood or Kato's Riverwood are not compatible for obvious reasons.
