An NPC replacer for the people of Dawnstar. Hopefully, the first part of a series.

Some NPCs are less important in the game compared to others, so naturally, mod authors mostly create replacers for the more prominent characters. I sometimes feel weird when I come across a face from 2011 while wandering among all the beautiful, carefully crafted characters in the game. So, I wanted to design new faces for every NPC, whether they are important or not, while staying as true to their in-game story as possible. With the help of CoTR and many other mods, I'll be redesigning the NPCs in the game, starting with the people of Dawnstar. I'll do my best to answer any questions, but don't forget to read the description before asking!

  • According to UESP, there are 45+ people living in Dawnstar. However, this number includes Dark Brotherhood, some NPCs from a CC content, guards, a steward, and a bard. This mod does not include these NPCs; I am planning to add them to another mod. So, there are 31 NPCs in total.
  • In the FOMOD, you can choose facetints, such as removing or changing warpaints, or removing dirt from miners.
  • I created these NPCs using BnP Male and BnP Female skin replacers. My first plan was not to add custom bodies. However, I use custom textures for faces, so mismatched textures can cause neck seams. Because of that, I decided to use body textures of BnP skin for everyone.
  • There are non-USSEP, USSEP, and AI Overhaul versions available. All three plugins are ESL-flagged. If you don't like any of the NPCs, you can remove them using xEdit and delete the facegen files.

I am open to suggestions, but don't forget that my tastes are not obligated to stand on a reasonable ground in your view. I am new at modding and this is my first mod. I might not be able to help with bugs/problems, but I would like to try. So, don't hesitate to ask, but don't use an unpleasant attitude.

The only requirement is Skyrim and a mod manager. Use a mod manager to install it and endorse the mod if you like.
