PageFile Manager

Introduction

Larger Skyrim modlists require a significant amount of memory, and if there's insufficient memory available, the system might fail to allocate more.
To resolve this, you'll need to increase the size of your pagefile. A pagefile is a file on your disk that Windows uses as additional memory when your RAM is running low.

Users often forget to do it. This addon will automatically handle it for you if your pagefile is too small or doesn't exist on the disk where the modlist is located.

Features

❗ All actions are preceded by a question, so nothing will be done without your permission!
❗ Plugin will not create/update pagefile, if there is not enough free space for it!
➡️ Automatically create pagefile.
➡️ Automatically increase pagefile.
➡️ Let you decide the size of pagefile using plugin settings. By default, 20-40 GB. Plugin is validating settings so you can be sure nothing bad will happen.
➡️ Restart your PC to apply the pagefile changes.
➡️ If for some reason pagefile will be removed/changed to smaller it will inform you using Notifications.

FAQ

Does this plugin affect the performance of MO2?

You should not notice any difference in performance, but if for some reason you want to disable all background checking, and just use plugin manually, disable autostart and enable_notifications settings mentioned in Configuration section above 🔝.

I got "failed to initialize plugin" bug.

Reinstall the plugin, but before you copy the new version, delete the old one so that no files from the old version are overwritten.
