About this mod

The Skyrim Linux Modder is the first mod manager made for Skyrim on Linux. Too long has it been that Windows is the premiere modding platform for Skyrim (and many other games) and Always Offline Software is going to change that! Provided free of charge on Nexus.

Changelogs
!!!PLEASE BE AWARE!!!
It will NOT have the features of Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex. Skyrim and its mods are very complex, some things may not work as intended when installed using the manager and require manual install. Especially Fomod heavy mods!
When I say "Skyrim", I mean Skyrim Special Edition (or AE) and support for Oldrim may come in the future.

The issues have almost come to a stop and a lot of features have been added, I'm happy to call this Beta software as of Version 0.4!! Even in beta as always I am happy to fix bugs and add good feature requests! I really want to add dependency management for Version 0.5 :)

Minimum Requirements:
  • glib 2.0
  • glibc-2.14 (64-bit)
  • libstdc++.so.6.0.13
  • libunwind8
  • GTK+ 3 (3.4.1 minimum)

Current features:
  • Linux first, all under GPLv2 :)
  • Works on any distro and the Steam deck!
  • Change your load order for regular mods
  • Install or batch regular mods
  • Install SKSE extensions (will not show in mod manager for now)
  • Saving mod presets
  • Support for GOG Skyrim SE (And other platforms)
  • Track SKSE extensions
  • Uninstall mods and SKSE extensions
  • Experimental SKSE installation automation *Latest Feature*

Future features:
  • Dependency management
  • Launch Skyrim SE/SKSE
  • Download mods to mod manager from Nexus

Wishlist:
  • LOOT Integration like MO2
  • Oldrim Support

Will probably not happen:
  • FOMOD installers (would be cool though)
  • Running companion programs (Bash, FINIS, ect.)

Tested on Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon. This is beta software tested by the guy who made it and subconsciously knows how not to break it, if you find something broken please report it here or on Github!! I really hope you enjoy the software and it works well for you! If you like it please consider tossing me a donation, this is a huge rush of motivation for me and legitimizes my efforts to my wife :)

I also will start blogging and making software on Patreon, if you want to support me or check out my non-game related projects check it out:
