This mod is split into two SkyPatcher modules that can be used separately or together: one focusing on Book Covers Skyrim - Lost Library Redux's ESPFE flagged plugin, and the other for Apocryphal Library.
This mod is intended to be used with Bibliophile's Arcanaeum, but it is not a hard requirement.
Lost Library Redux
This module does a handful of things given how old Lost Library is:
- All leveled list and merchant additions for Lost Library have been converted to SkyPatcher. This also addresses the scripted injection that controlled Lost Library's book stock in the affected merchants, instead allowing the books to be recycled alongside everything else in their stock.
- Hand-placed books have not been touched, though a scant few can be found outside their LL spots when paired with the Apocryphal Library module; more on this later.
- An ESPFE replacer has been provided to remove all vanilla leveled list edits, remove the merchant scripting, and fix the Journal - Book Collector's texture set record so its world model doesn't show missing textures.
- The Lost Library add-on changes to Bibliophile's Arcanaeum has been converted to SkyPatcher. This includes swapping out the Vanilla Real Barenziah volumes for LL's unabridged version, but does not include swapping out the random browse pool's roster for select Lost Library books; both vanilla and Lost Library will now show up in the random browse pool. A replacer ESP for BA's Lost Library add-on has been provided with only the necessary sub-list records.
- If Saints and Seducers (the CC) is detected in your load order, all instances of LL's Saints and Seducers (the book) will be replaced with the CC's book, with LL's cover applied to it.
- If Artifacts - The Tournament of the Ten Bloods is detected in your load order, its two copies of The Story of Lyrisius will have LL's cover applied to them.
- I've opted not to replace books as LL's version is considered a skill book, while Artifacts' Aldantar-edited book will fire off the quest as soon as you read it and the one other copy found in that mod is hand-placed, but does nothing otherwise.

Apocryphal Library
By itself, this module simply coverts the BA integration and leveled list distribution to SkyPatcher. Replacer ESPs are provided without their respective vanilla/BA edits, but still contain the necessary sub-lists.
The Apocryphal Library module mainly contains a couple of SkyPatcher files that will activate when installing the module with Lost Library active in your LO to replace a few duplicate texts found in Apocryphal Library for Lost Library's versions. These include Cosmology, KINMUNE, Nerevarine Cult Notes, Nu-Mantia Intercept, and Zainsubani's Notes.
I'm aware that Lost Library's Cosmology, KINMUNE, and Nu-Mantia Intercept are also meant to be one-of-a-kind books hand-placed somewhere by Lost Library; however, Apocryphal Library also places these three books in the apocryphal book stacks' leveled lists, and the inverse is true for the two Notes texts. This is my compromise in trying to resolve the overlap between these two book mods; think of the old hand-placed spots in the respective mods as guaranteed spawns, as you can still rarely stumble upon these texts outside of their original spawn points.
Installation
Notice if you're using SkyPatcher 3.1.0+:
This setting must be set to 1 for most of this mod to function. Otherwise, you'll likely only ever find Lost Library and Apocryphal Library's books in random loot.
Reloading in Skyrim is known to cause a handful of issues in the first place. The best I can say is to avoid reloading in general; this mod can help if you don't use any death alternative mods as death-triggered reloads are also affected, as noted by wSkeever in the video's comments.
In case it's not already clear: All Lost Library-related patches rely on the FormIDs present in Lost Library Redux's ESPFE plugin, no exceptions. I will not be making a version compatible with LOTD as I don't use LOTD in my load order anymore. Permissions are open for anyone that wants to adapt my changes to LOTD.
All files are provided in a FOMOD; simply install as normal and let my mod win any plugin conflicts.
