FuzzBeed's Dragon Lairs
For the focal point of game, dragons have very lackluster locations in Skyrim. Usually occupying a small Nordic ruin or mountain peak, with a lone word wall, these lairs don't capture the grandeur that a ferocious dragon encounter should instill. This series hopes to rectify this issue by giving each of dragon lairs its own sense of identity and scale.
Sublime Skyborn Altar
Northwind Summit is one of the more interesting dragon lairs in all of Skyrim. In order to reach it, you must first enter the Northwind Mine to gain access to the proper path, and are greeted with a smelting area that has been overtaken by a dragon. In my version, the Nordic aspect of this location is embellished, as well as the available ores, to give the balance of an overrun settlement.
