About this mod
Provides new models, enchantments, and allows swappable 1h/2h weapons. This mod follows the vanilla levelled progression system and aims to have a consistent visual aesthetic.

Thane weapons are supposed to be badge of office and a reward for often long or difficult questlines in the vanilla game. This mod aims to accomplish a several main things: unique models, levelled implementation, and rewards that are relevant for both one and two-handed playstyles.
Hold Weapons
Please see gallery for pictures of all the weapons. All enchantments are listed under "articles".

Features
Levelled: Weapons follow the vanilla levelled reward progression. They scale from steel tier to ebony tier with corresponding enchantment scaling. Crafting addon is WIP to be able to upgrade lower tier rewards (i.e., weapon received at lvl 1) to higher tier (i.e., elven tier once player is lvl 20).
Unique Models: Instead of using vanilla weapon assets, they all have their own unique appearances which are also easily customizable. I am open to the idea of making versions with other weapons, but these often need special permissions from authors to do so.
1H and 2H Flexibility: Weapons can be swapped between 1h and 2h versions for free and without smithing perks at any forge. This will not clutter crafting menu as it will only show when you have the specific weapon unfavourited and in inventory.

Thaumaturgy Integration: weapons with enchantments from SimonMagus' Thaumaturgy are included as an option, allowing for more unique enchantments that fit the theme of the hold or the thane quests.
Thane Weapons Reborn Patch: visual overhaul of Thane Weapons Reborn as an option. In this version, Markarth has a warhammer and mace to be consistent with Thane Weapons Reborn. I have added a gold-coloured cubemap from Megaman2k on to billyro's dovah hammer to keep the colours consistent of the hammers (see screenshots). This also comes with an optional plugin that replaces the staves in Thane Weapons Reborn with models from Praedy's Staves (patch requires this mod).
Compatibility
All mods touching Thane weapons overwrite the "favour" quest that assigns the weapon, and one Quest Alias in the main quest for Whiterun thane. Luckily, few mods alter these quests, but you need to ensure that this mod's .esp is loaded below any that touch those records. This mod only changes the quest rewards on these records.
Hard incompatibility: Other thane weapons replacers (obviously) for main mod. If you use visual patch, then only use Thane Weapons Reborn and my patch and not other Thane Weapon Replacers.
Soft incompatibility: mods that replace many artifacts like Artificer, have my mod overwrite it on both file order and load order (load my .esp below it). This will replace thane weapons with this mod, but keep all other features of that mod intact. Mods that alter thane requirements or thane quests should be checked.
Design philosophy
The vanilla implementation of thane weapons includes a levelled list that provides weapons that scale when the quest is completed according to the player's level. This is often lost in replacer versions, but I have replicated this feature by making thane weapons similar to artifacts like Chillrend which also have different versions.
Replacers often only select one type of weapon for thane rewards and vanilla distributes random weapons, making a melee playstyle rely on 1h or 2h have no flexibility. I have implemented 1h and 2h versions for all weapons that make sense, and a few ranged options as outlined above.
