This patch breathes life into Riverwood by combining animated laundry swaying in the breeze, smoke-billowing farmhouse chimneys, and the immersive detail of Unique Locations and Schlitzhor's Riverwood overhaul. Step into a truly dynamic village where every corner feels alive with motion and atmosphere, seamlessly blending realism and charm in Skyrim's most iconic starting town.

You MAY NOT use my mods in paywalled modlists. Already I've seen some 'modlist authors' doing this and I strictly do not condone this. Modlists and load orders should not be hidden behind patreon subscriptions.

Required Mods:
  • Animated Laundry
Adds realistic, swaying laundry lines to the village, giving Riverwood a lived-in feel.
  • Farmhouse Chimneys
Brings life to the farmhouses with smoke-filled chimneys, making the homes look warm and inviting.
  • Unique Locations – Riverwood
A complete overhaul of Riverwood, adding detail and personality to the town while maintaining its rustic charm.
  • Schlitzhor's Riverwood
A complementary mod that further enhances the architecture, layout, and atmosphere of Riverwood.
Why It's Flagged as an ESP:
  • More Flexibility for Load Orders: ESP files are loaded earlier in your load order, giving you better control over mod priority and compatibility with other mods.
  • Better Performance: While ESL files are useful for saving plugin slots, they can sometimes be more restrictive and cause issues with larger mods. Flagging this patch as an ESP ensures better integration with the above mods, without the potential limitations of ESLs.
  • Enhanced Compatibility: An ESP file allows for more comprehensive changes and is less likely to be affected by other mods, ensuring smoother gameplay with fewer conflicts.

OTHER

I've disconnected comments due to past experience. My mods, any of them, attract trolls faster than moths to a flame. Why, I don't know. Boredom, low self esteem, general stupidity. I'm no psychologist. I've learned to just ignore them, they're just seeking attention. But others jump in and the moderators have to step in to clean up the mess.

If you want to say "Thanks Derek for all that you do" - hit that endorsement and/or vote button. Or don't. I make mods for a very small audience. Me, myself and I. If other people can make use of them, that's great.
