Also, if you are a fellow Unplayable Faction Armors enjoyer there is an optional Patch to give him the modded armor, it works (and you need it) with both the Normal and the SkyPatched versions of the mod. Instead, if you have nothing editing his outfit, I have nevertheless gave to him some Leather Boots and Bracers to make somewhat different from his Alik'r subordinates... its something, I guess.

- HOW YOU GET -

Saadia and Kematu will behave the same as vanilla up until the conclusion of "In My Time Of Need".

To get Saadia of course you have to side with her and, after you complete the quest, she will have a new line of dialogue to make her recruitable, also marriageable. 

Alternatively, you can side with Kematu and let him capture Saadia. At that point, after you complete the quest, the Alik'r mercenary will also have a new line of dialogue to make him recruitable, also marriageable.
MAKE SURE YOU SPEAK TO HIM AFTER THE END OF THE QUEST, right there at the stables because, after you leave him, the game permanently disable him.
When he will finish his business with Saadia, you will find him again in Rorikstead at the Frostfruit Inn. 

The 2 new lines are 100% voiced, and if you are a fellow DBVO enjoyer, your character will also speak their lines.

I want to marry Saadia to Kematu instead?
Nice, but you read too much enemies-to-lovers literature. 

Do I need this?
Yes!

Is the quest MS08 "In My Time Of Need" altered in any ways?
No, all vanilla quests are left untouched for maximum compatibility.

The USSEP Saadia's AI Package fix?
I made also a fix.

I have NFF, it has a patch to make Saadia a follower after her quest?
Mee too, my guess is that it does the same thing but without dialogues, safe to have both, Saadia will be 200% a follower.

I am Lev.10 and I already did the Saadia quest?
Go to the Bannered Mare to collect your Saadia, alternatively go to Frostfruit Inn to collect your Kematu. 

In the case that I already killed the 1st dragon and did the Saadia quest, but I am not Lev.10 yet?
That was quick... Yes it will just works. 
For your future playtroughs, "In my time of need" will starts after you reach Lev.10

Why do I need an outfit patch if I use SkyPatcher?
Bc to avoid possible conflicts, keep inventories/relationships/factions distinct and leave the fight with Kematu unchanged (I gave him Levels and a tonn of Perks), I made a separate Kematu NPC to be your follower that needs to be patched.
