About this mod
Edge UI - is a modern interface replacer, based on Dear Diary Dark Mode/Untarnished UI/Horizon UI and Nordic UI2. The Interface is heavily inspired by modern AAA games like God Of War, Assassins Creed, Horizon and Elden Ring. This is still a WIP, as the author is a newbie in coding and designing.

What started as a simple hud replacer based on Untarnished UI for myself back in 2023, soon grew more and more to a state where I could finally call it a UI replacer of its own. Edge UI is my take on bringing modern game UI to skyrim, while trying not to ruin the overall theme of the game. I still cant call this a proper UI, because I heavily rely on 3rd party mods for the core, as I have zero coding experience, especially in SKSE/ActionScript2. This is far from what I want it to look like, so if you know anything about SKSE, .as2 and proper integration of .swf files - check my concepts section, and if you will be interested to implement those features - hit me up!
Disclaimer: I'm not a designer and will not pretend that I am one, so a lot of the assets can look unprofessional and or unfinished. I dont have much free time to spend on skyrim, as I have a family and a job that has nothing in common with designing, so bare with me. Altho I learned quite a bit during this year - my designing skills are still very basic.

○ Modern reskin of almost all of the main skyui and skyhud menus
○ Custom notifications system, enchantment bar and level up widget, based on the unreleased Nordic UI2 (huge thanks to Dopesan for letting me use his assets)
○ Reskins for TrueHUD, MoreHUD, QuicklootIE, CNO, SSLR, Detection Meter, TDM, C.O.C.K.S, SunHelm and other awesome mods.
○ 21x9 and 16:9 resolutions covered. AE Unsquish fixes are included (only the statsmenu for 21x9 AE is not covered)
1. Mandatory: skyhud, skyui
Will work without them, but Edge UI wouldn't be possible without them: DDDM, Untarnished UI, Nordic UI, New Horizons UI, ElSopa - Animated Icons
2. Optional Addons, that I highly recommend for a fully modern UI experience: RaceMenu, CNO, TDM, TrueHUD, QuickLootIE, SSLR, MoreHUD, Detection Meter, Wheeler, Experience, BTPS, DBVO, C.O.C.K.S, AIT, Oblivion Interaction Icons, Skyrim Souls RE, Show Player In Menus. Please make sure you read all the requirements and get the right versions for your game before reporting CTDs

Download and install the FOMOD for your version of the game with mod manager of choice.
○ Edge UI - SE is for both SE and AE before 1.6.1130, including 1.6.640
○ Edge UI - AE is for AE 1.6.1130+
Please make sure that Edge UI wins all the conflicts in your Load Order, before reporting bugs. Only font replacers, mainmenu & loading menu replacers and mods like AIT/KIT should overwrite Edge UI.

1. MoreHUD gold widget moving to the far-right side - seems like I broke the MCM script, so I'll have to remake it completely
2. Inventory Scroll not moving - Will fix as soon as I figure out how to make the thumb non-scalable or will revert to skyui version.
3. Minor overlapping in the menus, bookmenu navigation being covered on 16x9 - Will Include non-CSM version in the next update.
4. TweenMenu $CSKILLS - Will Include non-CSM version in the next update.
I'm fairly new to the modding scene and permissions, so if I have used your assets without permission - please let me know first, before reporting it <3
