About this mod

This is a very simple and small mod that now sends the Angler Acquaintances quest trigger box back to oblivion. Ever since Bethesda forced fishing upon us, I have avoided the Riften fishery like the plague because I simply hate having quests forced upon me that add nothing to the story of the game. Now you can rest in peace as I have saved us all!

The original quest trigger box encompassed the entirety of the fishery. Get too close and you now have a rather unimportant and another long "collect this" quest to your quest log.

Version 2 is already here and it's been just a few hours! The universe has spoken to me, and it told me that a better way to deal with this issue is to use my Daedric Prince-like powers to send that horrible quest back to Oblivion where it belongs! That's right folks, I have saved us all from yet another dreadfully annoying fetch quest. The original quests start just fine. Just speak to Viriya and Swims-In-Deep-Water separately as you would with the original quest. Complete the quests at your leisure or not at all!

Version 1 is not recommended, because if you talk to either Viriya or Swims-In-Deep-Water before triggering Angler Acquaintances, then the quest unfortunately gets stuck in a quest loop and you can't complete it. If you can remember that little caveat and insist on being able to trigger the quest, then by all means venture forth! This version shrinks down the quest box significantly and moves it to the center pier of the fishery. It's the one with the fishing supplies on it. You have to walk to the very end of the pier for the quest to start and you're safe to swim around the docks without triggering the quest. Just don't go under the center pier.

I also flagged it as an .esl because I know you guys love that sort of thing. :)

Load order shouldn't matter at all and should be fully compatible with literally anything.

Hope you guys find this useful! This works just fine on my end, so let me know if you have problems.
