INTRODUCTION:
MLO is a light weight lighting overhaul which adds particle light sources to meshes and uses BOS to disable fake lights.
This covers all fires (except shadow casters), candles, lanterns, sconces, and dwarven lights.
Designed for Community Shaders + Light Limit Fix but also works with ENB.
This can also be used with other lighting mods as well in most cases.
MLO has consistent fire/light color across all lights and light diameters vary based on the size of fire.
ABOUT THE MOD:
In vanilla and even most lighting mods the direction of light wasn't realistic considering the source of the light. Now every light in the game cast light in a realistic way but I decided to leave shadow casters and skylights untouched because its not possible to have particle lights change color according to time-of-day.
MLO works with vanilla meshes and also contains no world edits. Various patches are included for meshes I use in my game thanks to all the wonderful mod authors who allowed me to use their work.
This mod is intended to be used with Community Shaders + Light Limit Fix.
I have transitioned away from enb although I did test I with an enb so everything works. Feel free to try it out.
Swaps of Skyrim - A Candle and Dwemer Lights Mod are now included in MLO.
