"Sleeping inside a dead mammoth's ribcage would be a cool idea, though..."- Probably also nobody ever.
I always felt there wasn't a decent enough place for me to sleep and store my stuff before saving enough gold to afford Breezehome. There are many mods that address this, but many of them just add too much for me; arcane enchanters, alchemy tables, massive gardens, overpowered weapons and armor collections... All things a beginner house just doesn't need. On the other hand, many of the beginner homes are just bland cabins with nothing unique or exciting about them.
So I made this mod for myself, and I hope other people enjoy it, too. It adds a small, outdoor player home just outside of Whiterun, just northwest of the stables. It features a few non-respawning player-owned storage containers, a player-owned bedroll, a campfire with cooking pot, and a chair to sit in and watch the sunset, or the sheer excitement of the plains of Whiterun.
I tested this mod extensively, added proper "Navcut collision boxes", so as not to disturb the vanilla navmesh, to ensure NPCs wouldn't just aimlessly walk into the walls, chair, and campfire, and to ensure compatibility with most other mods. It is 100% bug-free and seamless.
Cleaned with SSEEdit.
