Hey folks, KataPUMB here again,
I absolutely love perk overhauls. But here's the problem: with all those new perks, I found myself resorting to some... let's say questionable means to get the points I needed. Between spamming clairvoyance until my brain hurt and making endless treks through Skyrim just to abuse the legendary system, I thought something: there should be a better way. A more natural way. A way that doesn't make me feel like a skill-hoarding lunatic who's one step away from setav-ing my character into a spreadsheet.
Enter Ancient Knowledge, my newest concoction. It gives you more than just perk points—it gives you a reason to get out there and do what we all love most: adventure!
This mod introduces the following items:
Each of these shiny little trinkets is a hidden gem of the past, carrying valuable knowledge (perk points) to help you along your way.
The items are dynamically placed via scripts, ensuring no vanilla records are altered—so your favorite mods will play nice with this one. Thanks to leveled list injection, these treasures can pop up multiple times, adding an exciting layer of unpredictability. For example, the Folium Discognitum has a 1% chance of appearing in the inventory of any enemy you kill. So whether you're looting a bandit chief's chest or rummaging through a mudcrab's lunch, adventure awaits!
So, what are you waiting for? Pack a lunch, sharpen your blade, and head out there! Somewhere in the wilds of Skyrim, these treasures await—and along with them, the knowledge of the ancients.
