As of V2, Enchantment Art Extender no longer supports lights. This was always meant to be taken care of by a dedicated framework, and now that Light Placer is released, that framework has been chosen. This offers a variety of upsides when compared to the regular EAE method of attaching lights:
- Lights now accurately attach to the weapons.
- Lights now stack with torches and light spells.
- Having multiple lights no longer blends their lighting together, instead displaying both properly.
- With Community Shaders, any and all flickering is eliminated.
This is also completely plug and play. Simply install and forget, even in the middle of a playthrough. You can also uninstall at any point. The lights themselves are normal lights, meaning that they factor in detection calculation (though the detection threshold has been reduced.
