Helga was my very first release here on Nexus, and the first one I did that turned out to be more than I bargained for at the time.
It's been almost an year since I released it, and I've learned a lot during these months.
A remake was necessary: apart from the couple issues that conversion has, the end result just wasn't up to my current standards. There was much room for improvement, and I'm actually happy to see how far I've come with my skills.
But why make a new page instead of updating the existing one? Because honestly, I want this version to be seen; I don't want it to just be an update. It's a whole new project, that has nothing much to do with the previous one. Who's been talking with me on discord knows for how long this one dress has been on my mind, how much time went into remaking the conversion and how long I procrastinated it.
It's been such a huge thing for me, and now it's done.
So, what's new?

- Actual 3BA conversion:
The previous conversion was in fact, not 3BA. This is due to the xml, which I didn't know a thing about.
Now that I do, the breasts are actually 3BA. And the shirt also moves with physics, leaving only the corset static for immersiveness.
The body itself was kept whole except for a few bits that I zapped off for the sake of clippings or deemed unnecessary. The zap is active by default, for maximum comfort.
The same applies for UBE users.
- No optional downloads:
This is technically not fully true, as the UBE conversion will always be an optional file.
But what I mean is, both corseted and relaxed looks for the dress are in one download. As the dress in game is still one, do not build both in bodyslide.
Doing so will most likely cause a CTD on equip, so it's either one or the other.
The same applies for UBE users.
- Compatibility with Xtudo's:
Under request of a user and with permission from Xtudo,
I've converted his version of the dress without smp, as well as the underwear option, 3BA only.
The Non-HDT dress doesn't have body physics. It's intended, as per his original version.
I'll consider the underwear for UBE if it's requested.
- Bugfixes:
The previous conversion had a couple of bugs reported, such as a neck seam in the corseted version and the legs clipping while running.
Now, the neck seam has been fixed. Both versions of the dress I've extensively tested for it, and it hasn't been reported by anyone who tested pre-release.
As for the clipping while moving, in v2 I couldn't honestly see much of it: I ran around, jumped, sprinted, sneaked.
The skirt behaved really well, glitched on itself a couple times, but nothing unfixable by resetting the physics or some more movement.
A couple solutions:
1. (quoting Fuse00) go to first person camera and back to fix
2. console command smp reset
3. this mod
- Known issues:
Should go without saying, but the more extreme the body the more clippings there may be.
I did my best checking with different body presets, and I believe I've achieved the best result possible. You're free to report any clipping, but I can't promise I'll fix it if it's something I already know about.

The mod comes with prebuilt zero'd meshes, is as always compatible with OBody, and an ESL-ified plugin!
The boots have their rightful high heel offset as well.
The UBE conversion is an optional file, so it'll need the main file!
