Foreword For my most recent playthrough, I decided to make my Skyrim a much more dangerous place outside of town walls, especially at night. To this point, I figured that even the most benign jobs would only be performed by seasoned adventurers and experienced warriors. So I decided to make this SPID distribution file that replaces the outfit for Couriers, Mercenaries, and general adventurers of all sorts. This includes weapons and armor of course, but also warmwear for Skyrim's harsh winters.
Details This config uses SPID's Partial Matching system to find all NPCs with specific keywords in their name to decide who is a traveler. There are four tiers of equipment, Iron, Steel, Silver, and Ebony. The reason for Silver being a higher tier is that my game would include a lot of undead as the main threat. Ebony is incredibly rare to distribute, and about half of all selected NPCs will be using Iron.
