About this mod

A realistic grass and ground cover mod with a touch of artistic style, also adds grass to dirt cliffs. Supports ENB Complex Grass.

My vision of Skyrim's ground cover. I aimed to make it realistic, but it also includes elements of artistic style.

When creating the mod, I tried to avoid the common mistakes found in other grass mods. All the normal maps in the mod are based on high-poly models, so they are accurate, provide volume to the plants, and look natural. I also carefully adjusted subsurface scattering and speculars, and I believe I achieved a satisfactory result. My mod uses ENB Complex Grass.


All existing grass mods on Nexus do not include grass on dirt cliffs, and I took this into account when creating my mod. 
The mod adds grass to dirt cliffs for all regions.

The mod already covers the entire territory of Skyrim and the DLCs: Pine Forest, Aspen Forest, Tundra, The Reach, Vulcanic Tundra, Coast Beach, Snowy Regions, Ash, Volcanic Ash Tundra and underwater vegetation for rivers and oceans. Seasons of Skyrim is also supported. The mod doesn't edit Worldspace records, so it should be compatible with mods that edit the landscape, such as Northern Roads.


During installation, you can choose the texture resolution for the grass in the mod, as well as different color variations for the plants to better match your mod list. My mod also includes 2k resolution landscape textures, which I highly recommend using. Optionally, 8k mountain textures and moss textures for mountains are available if you are using the Moss Rocks mod.

I made an effort to optimize my mod well; the grass meshes have fairly simple geometry. However, I can’t tell you how much more or less it impacts performance compared to other grass mods because I haven’t compared them.

Just install the mod in the Data directory or use any mod manager.
If the grass in the mod appears too shiny, you may need to adjust the settings in the ENB Complex Grass menu. I recommend the following values:

P.S. You can open the ENB menu by pressing Shift + Enter (or END, depending on your ENB). Then, in the enbseries.ini, find the [COMPLEXGRASS] section, and there you can modify all these values.
